Matthew 8: 23-27 - God has led the work, and God will give victory
"23. And when he was come into the boat, his disciples followed him;
24. And behold, in the sea there arose a storm, so great that the boat was covered by the waves; But he was asleep.
25. And his disciples came and awakened him, saying, Lord, save us. That we perish.
26. And he said unto them, Why fear ye, ye of little faith? Then he arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there followed a great calm.
27. And the men marveled, saying, What man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him? "
Jesus was with a great multitude, and the crowd followed Jesus, and the interest of the multitude was only material, and the message of Jesus was a spiritual message, it was a message of the Kingdom. The crowd was always with Jesus, but the interests were different. The concern of the church is with the prophetic message of Jesus' return. The Lord has revealed to us the work and salvation. We stand before a moment in which it precedes the rapture of the church. The church is used by the Lord to preach, to evangelize. We are awaiting the return of Jesus, and while that does not happen we are led by Jesus on a boat. Many things come to try to weaken our faith. Sometimes we go through great trials, and we forget to pray to the Lord, and we forget that before the fight God makes us win our battles. God takes care of us, God has led the work, and God will give victory. The Lord will take us to eternity. We have to understand that there will come waves, winds, fights, but as long as we are with the Lord on the boat, victory is guaranteed. The Peace of the Lord Jesus, Amen?
